Profiles without thermal barrier are aluminum profiles with a relatively low price but with a very low coefficient of thermal insulation due mainly to the thermal conductivity specific to metals, which is why they are very used in the case of interior doors and compartments that do not require thermal insulation between environments. They can also be used outside in the rooms.
Aluminum profiles with thermal barrier have the outer and inner chamber of aluminum and the intermediate plastic, namely the polyamide, which has the role of eliminating the thermal conductivity of the metal. The 3-layer gasket system as well as the polyamide core provide a thermal insulation coefficient close to that of the PVC profiles. And in the case of aluminum, the quality of the fittings used is of great importance, which will result in an easy and long-lasting use of the carpentry used.
